HANTECH BIO-TECH (1294), a leading contract manufacturer of liquid retort-pouch health supplements, is gaining stronger growth momentum as major brands increasingly shift from glass bottles to aluminum foil pouch packaging. Chairman Lee Yu-Lin said the company is confident that both revenue and profit will reach record highs this year.
HANTECH BIO-TECH is a major contract manufacturer of functional health products. The company is scheduled to hold its pre-listing investor conference today (Aug. 28) and is expected to officially list on the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) in late September.
Lee noted that functional beverages commonly found across major retail channels—including collagen drinks, lutein drinks, and berry drinks—are increasingly transitioning from glass bottles to aluminum foil pouch packaging. Compared with glass bottles, aluminum foil pouches are more cost-effective, require less storage space, and help reduce transportation costs. Their convenience in retail and distribution has also made them an increasingly popular packaging choice among manufacturers.
Lee further explained that HANTECH uses horizontal filling machines for its liquid filling processes and operates multiple units to ensure sufficient production capacity. The company also offers a wide range of patented pouch molds for customers to choose from, strengthening its position as a leading contract manufacturer of retort-pouch beverages in Taiwan.
