Pursuant to Article 2 of the \u201cStandards Governing Margin Purchases and Short Sales of Securities,\u201d the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) conducted a review of OTC-listed securities for eligibility for margin trading and short selling. The shares of HANTECH Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 1294) have met the requirements set forth in the aforementioned standards. Accordingly, TPEx announced that HANTECH Biotechnology\u2019s shares would be eligible for margin trading and short selling starting September 22, 2025.<\/p>\n
Established in 2007, HANTECH initially focused on the sale of traditional Chinese medicinal materials, including tortoise and deer products. In 2010, the company began producing ultra-micronized and nano pearl powder through low-temperature grinding. In 2012, HANTECH introduced sterilization soft-pouch horizontal filling machines and sterilization equipment, beginning its contract filling services for health food products.<\/p>\n
HANTECH Biotechnology currently operates its manufacturing facility in Changhua, with its primary business activities focused on the research and development of liquid and jelly-form health food products, as well as ODM and OEM manufacturing services. The company provides one-stop contract manufacturing services for health food products, covering everything from formula design to sterilization, soft-pouch filling, and packaging.<\/p>\n
Chairman Li Yu-Lin pointed out that HANTECH has the largest production capacity in the market, exceeding that of its major competitors by more than four times. Compared with bottled packaging, soft-pouch packaging takes up less space and can reduce packaging costs by approximately 80%. In logistics and transportation, it can reduce costs by approximately 60%. These advantages demonstrate HANTECH\u2019s manufacturing strengths in balancing economic efficiency with environmental sustainability, while providing brand customers with greater operational efficiency and market flexibility.<\/p>\n
